Vintage French Saxophone Advertising Prop Paris France circa 1940

An enormous saxophone originally used as an advertising prop from a music store in Paris, France circa 1940. Please look at the giant scale of this store prop made to suspend from a wall in a store that sold musical instruments and sheet music. The saxophone retains its original loops on the back that allow it to be hung at any angle. The wonderful sinuous shape of a saxophone is blown up here to giant size that is thrilling to behold. This piece will make a terrific impact when it is installed as a piece of musical sculpture as the saxophone follows the shape and detailing of a normal scale instrument. The golden finish is original to the piece and mimics the sheen of a true brass saxophone.
