Antique French Architectural Forged Iron Finial France circa 1880
A large antique French solid forged iron architectural finial from France circa 1880 removed from the top of a garden outbuilding in Normandy with an oxidized patina. The round base was used to secure the spires to the peak of the roof. Please notice the graphic quality of the ironwork and the elegant proportions.
