Art Deco Vintage French Rosewood Maple Dining Table circa 1930

A striking vinatge French Art Deco rosewood maple dining table circa 1930. Please be sure to enlarge all the photographs to see the handsome details of the top and legs in closeup. The extraordinary pattern of the rosewood is on full display here across the entire top of the table. Also notice the intriguing profile of the four pedestals and the manner in which the creator laid the rosewood to run both vertically on the pedestals and horizontally on the lower sections. The entire table top is framed with maple chosen for its gorgeous contrast with the rosewood. This table seats up to ten persons and only needs placemats instead of a tablecloth as the entir epoint is to see the rare timber. Easy to be seated as the apron measures 26 1/2" high from the floor.
