Henri II Antique French Oak Painted Server Display Table circa 1875

An antique French Henri II painted oak server display table circa 1875 having a wide drawer and lower shelves. The bold spiral twist vertical supports on this table first appeared during the reign of Henri II in the early sixteenth century and have remained popular in French furnishings since then. The long drawer across the front is distinguished by the stylized animal head resembling a lion that when pulled and pushed open and close the drawer. The open shelves below the drawer are perfect for display and many people choose to plave a telkevision on the top with the equipment below.
