Iron Frame Chaise Longue, Woven Cane Seat, Back, Original Maker's Stamp, America c. 1890
A stunning American antique metal frame chaise lounge with a woven seat and back bearing the original maker’s stamp from New York City circa 1890. This chaise longue was constructed to be capable of folding into a small size when not needed. Often seen on the verandas of upscale resorts the antique chaise longue could be easily moved where desired when it was folded. Now it retains its compelling presence and is ready for life in a contemporary home.
