A large vintage Italian Bitossi factory earthenware bowl in a stunning turquoise glaze known as Blue Rimini having an inverted rim from Italy circa 1965. This famous ceramic factory made this particular combination of glazes and motifs world famous in the 1960's under the designer Aldo Londi. The importance of this particular piece lies in its grand scale and the notable manner in which the incised decoration has been applied. As the piece remains entirely intact the mesmerizing quality of the circular shape continues to fascinate as the eye moves continually around the bowl.
