A charming antique Neoclassical Louis XVI style carved, painted and gilded circular tabouret (bench or stool in French) from Edwardian period England circa 1910. The metal label on the underside says "CSR-Londyn". This stool was probably made for a famous London retailer such as Harrod's for their discerning and fashionable clientele. The seat is covered in a complementary leather encircled with nailhead trim.
