A striking vintage French painted sideboard serving table circa 1960 found in the south of France featuring an unusual arrangement of stacked wooden tree limbs with a garden trellis background that frames an arched opening in the centre. The wooden top is painted to resemble marble (faux marbre technique) and has a decorative shape to the front and sides. The height and shallow depth of this table combine to make it excellent for use in the dining room, a hallway or behind a sofa. Please note that the sides are finished as well giving this table the ability to be seen from all directions with equal impact.
