Pair Art Deco Black Lacquer Ebonized Timber Cocktail Tables circa 1940

A pair of smart French Art Deco black lacquer ebonized timber rectagluar cocktail or cigarette tables from France circa 1940 each with the original brass cap at the foot of each leg. The elegant simplicity of each table is showcased by the recessed apron below the top and the four square taped legs that support the top before being capped with brass where they stand upon the floor. The gleaming midnight black finish was often used during the Art Deco period and these tables were placed iwthin an interior to be moved at will wherever they were needed to provide a comfortable and attractive place to set a drink.
