Pair Vintage French Lucite and Glass Side Coffee Tables France circa 1980

The continental trade name for American Lucite is Perspex and this transparent material has been a favourite of modern designers for decades. These vintage French Lucite tables from France circa 1980 each have four legs that wrap around a corner and are attached with gilded bolts. Suspended within the square shape of the frame is a square piece of glass chosen because it is much more durable than Lucite when used on a regular basis. These tables have a distinctive modern flair and the unique size gives them plenty of versatility in an interior where they may be used as side or end tables as well as in front of a sofa for coffee tables.
