Pair of Antique Italian Rococo Period Venetian Glass Candelabra, Italy circa 1740
A marvelous pair of antique Italian Rococo period Venetian hand blown glass candelabra, Italy circa 1740. The delicate colours and elaborate shape are all hallmarks of true period Venetian origin. Please use the zoom feature to see all the details including the missing sections as these enchanting candleabra have been used and enjoyed for two and a half centuries. These antique Italian candlesticks disassemble and were done this way originally so they could be moved and cleaned from the dripping candle wax. Now we use a glass votive candle cup for each arm so the wax remains contained while the gorgeous shimmer of the hand blown glass is enhanced by the buring flame.
