Set Three Vintage English Cast Iron Counter Stools England circa 1895

Three vintage English cast iron stools from England circa 1895. These counter height stools retain their original painted finish that shows the passage of time. The use of cast iron that originated in the nineteenth century literally changed the world. Cast iron was a material that was able to be poured into a mould and duplicated over and over without any loss of quality and then shipped all over the world. Each of these stools stand on four raised feet that join a central shaft and are defined by their decorative detail that enables them to be seen from any direction. All three stools are upholstered in a full grain cowhide that may easily be changed to anything of your choice. Super comfortable especially with the horizontal spokes above the bass used as first rests. Please be sure to enlarge and zoom on the photographs to see the individual elements that give these vintage counter stools their appeal.

Set Three Cast Iron Stools, England c.1895. These counter height stools retain their original painted finish that shows the passage of time. The use of cast iron that originated in the nineteenth century literally changed the world. Cast iron was a material that was able to be poured into a mould and duplicated over and over without any loss of quality and then shipped all over the world. Each of the stools stand on four raised feet that join a central shaft and are defined by their decorative detail that enables them to be seen from any direction. The printed cloth fabric on the seats has a cheeky British theme with flags set in a random pattern. Of course the fabric may be easily changed as it is merely stapled to the wooden seat on the underside.
