Vintage English Edwardian Period Hand Embroidery Framed Hanging England circa 1910

A beautiful example of a vintage English Edwardian period hand embroidery England circa 1910 with a lush design of  an urn centred in the field with exuberant roses and foliage spilling forth from the top. Please notice the symmetrical design of the scroll work design that flanks the urn. These motifs are in contrast with the asymmetrical design of the flowers that are in full blossom and the leafy branches that are above the flowers. This type of embroidery is unusual in featuring bead work in addition to regular needlework stitching. The shape of the panel is accentuated by the gold frame that has a chevron point at the base. The hand work in this piece makes for a wonderful accent because of the colour and reflective quality of the beads used in its composition.
