Antique Italian Engraving By Rossini After Piranesi circa 1825

This large antique framed Italian engraving circa 1825 is by Luigi Rossini, after the famous Piranesi. Featuring the Tomb of Caecilia Metella, a mausoleum outside of Rome on the Appian Way. Celebrated for its excellent state of preservation this Roman monument has been a sight seeing destination for centuries.
